Cynthia Irby Wilson, M.D., FAAD
Dr. Wilson is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Island Park Dermatology in Daniel Island, South Carolina. She has more than 10 years of experience as a dermatologist in Charleston, South Carolina. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Wilson received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. She then completed a one-year research internship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She received her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, where she graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Wilson was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and served as Vice President of this medical honor society. Upon graduation, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at UAB before starting her dermatology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She served as chief resident during her final year of residency.
Dr. Wilson and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters, Olivia and Lucy, and a golden retriever named Belle. They have loved being a part of the fantastic community of Daniel Island since 2013.
Dr. Wilson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the South Carolina Dermatological Association, the Charleston Dermatological Society, the South Carolina Medical Association, and the National Psoriasis Foundation.
Heather L. Wolf, PA-C
Heather L. Wolf, PA-C, is a highly experienced dermatology provider with over 20 years of clinical expertise. She graduated magna cum laude from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and was also a graduate of the College’s Honors Program. She went on to complete her medical training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, earning both a Master of Science and Child Health Associate degree.
Heather has a passion for dermatology across all ages, with a special love for pediatric care. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, understood, and confident in their care.
She is certified by the NCCPA, licensed through the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, and has been a Diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants since 2011. She also serves as Vice President of the South Carolina Association of Dermatology Physician Assistants and has been the Lowcountry representative since 2012.
When she’s not caring for patients, Heather enjoys traveling with her family and reading, especially historical fiction.
Alex Yost

Alex Yost is a licensed medical aesthetician with over five years of experience in medical aesthetics. Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, she relocated to Charleston in 2023 and brings a passion for results-driven skincare and patient-centered care to Island Park Dermatology.
She is highly trained in advanced laser treatments, dermaplaning, customized medical-grade facials, chemical peels, and microneedling. Committed to ongoing education, Alex stays at the forefront of emerging technologies and evidence-based innovations in aesthetic medicine.
Her approach combines clinical precision with a personalized touch. She loves helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin while building confidence through thoughtfully tailored treatment plans.
